Wavecrest Village to seek grant for swimming pool upgrade

As a joint initiative between Wavecrest Village and the local Hopetoun GP Dr Manus Lochner, a funding grant will be sought to upgrade the Wavecrest Village swimming pool to provide additional usage for lcal Hopetoun residents who require important hydrotherapy rehabilitation for a range of ailments and injuries.

The funding grant will cover the cost for additional railing and steps to be installed and most importantly, the pool will be heated allowing for year round use. This will be a great outcome for local residents and the increase in the provision of medical services, plus the Village will have a much more usable swimming pool for all to enjoy.

The funding application is currently being drawn up and the allocation of monies is anticipated in the near future.
